After Nehemiah returned to Babylon, the high priest invited Tobiah to set up his household in the Temple's storerooms. This betrayal forced the priests and Levites to leave the Temple to earn their living elsewhere. Ministry stopped to the people and to the nations.
Today, Tobiah's devastating presence in the lives of many Christians has done great harm to the purity and holiness of the Lord's testimony. Who will be courageous and throw Tobiah out of the Temple? Who will call the Church to repent of her worldliness, her compromise, and her refusal to deny herself, take up her cross, and follow her Lord? Who will ask, as Nehemiah did, "Why is the house of God forsaken?"
This simple book was written to shine the light on Tobiah's lies and drive him once and for all from Christians' lives. Once he is vanquished, we will be able to live as the Father has always intended us to live - as children begotten to bear His image and be after His likeness. To finally be conformed to the image of the Son of God, Who did not come to negotiate the will of God, but to embody it.
