Ember's task should have been simple: convince a wayward half-dragon shifter to accept his heritage, then go home to her isolated community to marry the betrothed she hasn't met, a powerful dragon shifter who can handle her flames.
Cole, the half dragon shifter in question has no intention of accepting his heritage even at the insistence of an incredibly hot, literally and figuratively, burner whose out of control flames seem to be exactly what his inner dragon wants most.

Cole soon discovers that the beautiful girl disrupting his intentionally indolent lifestyle is not what he, or she, thought she was. Can Cole resist his dragon's need to protect her?
