The books are arranged alphabetically by authors in each of the sub classes excepting individual biography, which is arranged alphabetically according to the subjects of the biography.
The author index gives the names of the authors, editors or translators, and the pages on which their works will be found, except in works of fiction and individual biography.
In calling for a book, give author, title, class and number. Slips for that purpose will be found in the Reading Room.
