In this book of poetry, the author expresses an artistic view of love, loss, and success through various stages of life covering a period of more than twenty years. The author, John Angel, is a Christian (specifically a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) and this system of belief has influenced much of his poetry, and helped him cope with and get through the ups and downs of life. He has been through a near death experience where he saw his Savior, Jesus Christ, and some of his poetry was inspired by that experience.
