This book retells some magical Persian legends rewritten from the ancient Shahname but adapted to suit a modern 21 st century audience. There are kings who fly the sky, others that are in awe of a princess more capable than himself, a rejected prince brought up by a mystical bird, a king who had everything yet was not sure he could indeed have the most precious of all things etc. Through out the stories the ancient Zoroastrian concept of Good versus not so good is highlighted and how each of us have the choice to overcome attributes such as greed power arrogance cunningness and other negative qualities that can befall us at random. The author has in bold added and magically modernised the legends of long ago to include strong women and empower princesses and queens of a past era.
