Publisher's Synopsis
Ghost of the Poet Gunslinger
His ghost followed him everywhere. It was his shadow, as dangerous and lethal as he. His ghost lurked in the shadows, ever threatening all who wished harm to him. There was no retreat, no quarter given, he was relentless in his pursuit to win at all cost. No man or beast was faster or quicker to act when in danger. Fango was his name...poet and gunslinger was his fame.
"Go not into the night, where there is danger and fright.
Fango, feared nothing in sight,
As champions fell before his might!
Fango, the Poet Gunslinger!"
He wrote this poem to himself. He laughed and said silently, " Only those I have slain know me properly. The time will come, when all will know of my fame with a gun, Rather than face me-they will go on the run...Fango.
He took the poem he had just written and put it in a pouch he kept fastened to his belt. His handmade holster lay on his right side, just below his hip. The handle on the colt 45 was facing backwards...easy for a quick draw from the left hand. That's what fooled most of those who tried to test him. They were looking at his left, while his right hand, with the quick twist, drew the gun. It fired before the clock could click off one second...that's what made him so lethal...no one was faster than him. He had 57 notches on his Eagle carved handle to prove it. Each time a gunfighter fell before him...he would carve another feather on the wing of the eagle that graced his gun.
He was "Fango-The Poet Gunslinger"...yea, he had a soft side to him. He was a poet...the only good thing he could remember of his tortured childhood. He grew up on a farm with rugged conditions...he paid the price of knowing what hardship was to a little kid trying to survive in the wilderness...he did, and became a captain in the 9th Calvary horse soldiers in 1886.
It was good for a while...till the "you know what" hit the fan...then all hell broke loose...and this is his story...fBk 3/30/23

Book Series:
For those of you who are thinking of buying my two books in this series, you should be aware of the themes:
The overall theme of book one, "Fango, The Poet Gunslinger" this is an action adventure story that takes place in the Old West.
The hidden theme of book one is:
A married woman has an illicit love affair with two men and has an illegitimate child...and she does not know which of the two is the father.
In book two: "AGhosta, the Poet Sheriff " this is also a roaring adventure story. The child in book one has grown up to be the sheriff of this western town.
The underlying theme is: She is the 18 year old daughter who falls in love with her father. Although, she does not know he is her father. He, on the other hand has no idea she is his daughter. The predicament is...They are planning to be married.
This leads to a very complicated solution that the author must figure out to solve this problem.
The story resolves with a Surprise Ending....which is quite unexpected. Then, in the Epilogue, ....There is a " Surprise Ending "...to the surprise ending...a possible first in this type of storytelling...fBk
