Publisher's Synopsis
Lilly Carter makes her living at the mall, she drives a terribly decrepit old car, and she can barely afford the rent on the house she shares with her two roommates Tom and Phil. She spends her free time down at Fluffers, the cabaret/club owned by her roommates, being generally adored by all the gay happy people, and doing her share to keep the bar stock fresh by making sure the alcohol gets consumed in a timely manner. Lilly's love life has been lacking of late, not because she can't find a boy, but because her cross dressing immortal roommates have an annoying tendency to steal her boys for a little midnight snack. It was absolutely amazing how she could bring home a perfectly good straight boy only to have them batting for the other team by morning. Things were looking pretty grim for our girl until Jay came along. Now Lilly finds herself with the perfect vampire proof man. He's sexy, witty, cooks, has a British accent, and belongs to the undead club himself. Too bad Lilly didn't get a chance to read the vampire dating manual before she plunges into life with Jay head first. Now she's forced to do things the hard way, the really, really hard way.
