Grants TO states. The bill authorizes ants to States to be awarded on a competitive basis for a period 0 3 years. Grants may range from to based on the amounts available and the child population of the State. The bill directs the Secretary to award grants to States in a manner that is geographically equi table and distributes the grants among States that have differing levels of development of statewide systems of family support.
