In 1671-72 he was chosen Fence Viewer, and in 1675 Surveyor for highways. He was a member of Rev. Mr. Mix's congregation, and he died January 2, 1711, aged 83 (gravestone). His wife, Joan, died January 29, 1705, aged 76 (gravestone).
