Publisher's Synopsis
This CD-ROM contains the interactive labs of "Using Computers: A Gateway to Information", with sound, graphics, animation and content. Labs utilize graphics and animations to reinforce computer concepts taught in a student text or teach concepts in place of a traditional text. Music and sound effects are included, and audio narration discusses on-screen images and adds traditional insight into computing. The disk is accompanied by a guide book providing students with assistance through each lab, exercise questions, additional content, and hands-on, online, and Windows 95 assignments. There is a facility for students to print a set of questions at the beginning of each lab, to be completed and handed in to the instructor as a homework assignment.
