Kanara, Karwar, bred in July from unusually large irregularly elongate oval semitransparent white cocoons, with three or tour small attached bubbles, found on surface of leaf, each on a vein, scattered about on various sorts of bushes in neighbourhood of Terminalia particulate (cornbretacere), which is probably the food plant; at considerable distances apart, indicating a wandering habit before pupating (maxwell); one specimen. Allied to con volula.
