Publisher's Synopsis
Existence is a short poetry collection in which David Gray-Hammond captures the pain of existing in a world that, by design, oppresses us. This collection spans several years of recovery from addiction and psychosis in David's life, and narrates the struggle he has found in a society that not only doesn't care, but at times overtly causes harm. He punctuates this with the juxtaposition of the places in the world where he has found joy and happiness. Existence is meant to inspire introspection, and highlight the need for not only better individuals, but a better society as a whole.
