Publisher's Synopsis
Have you ever felt like your expectations or standards were too high? Do people in your life constantly let you down or fail to meet your standards? If so, this book is for you. As a self-proclaimed perfectionist, I have lived most of my life holding people to expectations they are never able to meet. Join me as we explore how God not only meets our expectations but exceeds them in all areas of our lives. We will explore various stories in the Bible where God used his sovereignty, power, love, grace, and so much more to save his chosen people and shine his glory in a way that no human could have ever done.

- Conclusion
The broad audience for this book is women, but the prime audience for this book is women who are or long to become Mothers. In an ideal world, I envision you reading this book over the course of 12 weeks in the midst of community. Each chapter focuses on a specific topic and is divided into the following three parts:
1. Unpacking what the Bible teaches about this topic and remembering specific stories within the Bible where God uses his people.
2. Sharing a personal story about this topic's impact in my own life and how God has used it to sanctify me and glory Himself.
3. Closing with a recommended Scripture reading, verse of reflection, and three to five reflection/discussion questions.
To get the most out of this content, I encourage you to start a book club of young women in your local community, church, friend-group, small group, etc. Pick a consistent day and time to review one chapter each week. Read the scriptures, memorize the verse of reflection, and share your answers to reflection questions within your community.
If reading this book within a community is not possible for you, I encourage you to take time to deeply reflect and answer the questions at the end of each chapter. Our hearts and minds always have emotions to process, but making the space to process our emotions in line with God's Word allows us to intimately experience Him the way we were designed to from the beginning of time.
