Yoo Tae Joon absolutely hates the rain, and with good reason. He dreads the rainy season in South Korea, and has no tolerance for anyone who has anything good to say about such horrid weather. So what happens when he encounters Grace Lee, a young lady who just so happens to love the rain, and spends many early rainy mornings standing in the park across the street from the coffee shop Tae Joon works at. At first, he used to watch her through the window, shaking his head, certain she was just a nudge shy of insanity. But then one morning, she came into the coffee shop, and their eyes met. Tae Joon didn't know what it meant, the fact that he couldn't think of a single word to say, instead choosing to disappear into the kitchen to avoid the awkwardness of the situation. But what he did know was that he would never want to get to know anyone who enjoyed standing in the rain, letting it soak her through to the bone, no doubt. No matter how fast his heart was beating. A story set in South Korea of love, loss, heartbreak and learning to let go.
