Publisher's Synopsis
This report presents the findings of an evaluation of the delivery of NVQs and SVQs in the Further Education (FE) sector which the Department for Education commissioned for the National Foundation for Educational Research (NFER) to undertake between January and November, 1995. The report addresses the extent to which FE colleges were offering the full range of NVQ and SVQ programmes at all levels, any potential barriers hindering FE colleges from offering the programmes, and a description and analysis of how far colleges are adapting to the implications of outcome-based qualifications.
