Experts from both sides of the Atlantic examine major economic and legal issues of interest both to Europeans and Latin Americans. Problems are highlighted and all areas of EEC policy are discussed in an attempt to ascertain whether the EEC could serve as a model for Latin American countries, particularly the member states of the Andean Pact Group.;This work had its origin in a conference held at Bogota, Colombia, in 1984. It has been strengthened by the addition of subsequent articles by specialists of both continents.
