As computers continue to become more common in the health-care industry, computer literacy has become an integral part of the nursing profession. The first half of the book covers microcomputer hardware, on-line networks, microcomputer software and database coding schemes. The second half of the book reviews nursing administration, practice, research and education and has been expanded to include home-health and intensive-care applications.
