"Progressive Christianity is a recent religious movement which seeks to engage with the traditions of the past while updating them to ensure their relevance and utility for a post-modern audience. It is proposed that theology is progressive in that it is an ongoing discipline that repeatedly gives rise to new ways of looking at old questions. Some of the oldest questions, which have religion and culture have repeatedly wrestled with involve wealth, generosity, and leaving a legacy; and the ways of dealing with these topics are in dire need of a face-lift.
