Publisher's Synopsis
Aiden Recker leaves the care home where he has grown up to move to a small American town to live with his sister. A troubled youth, Aiden seems to attract the appearance of beings made of dark matter and, at first, has trouble separating these visions from the pessimism with which he views life. After enrolling in a networking class, he meets others who see these beings, and discovers - to his amazement - that he has special powers which can defeat them. The acquaintances become friends as they join in a common cause: to use their powers to protect others.
