Publisher's Synopsis
"The images and writing in Enthusiasm is blasting out of all of my holes are the culmination of several years' work undertaken throughout Europe. The project revisits the idea of psychogeography as coined by Guy Debord in 1955 and focuses on how personal cartographies of encountered territories can broaden perceptions of the public sphere, while at the same time blurring the distinctions between the natural environment and the built landscape. In response to rising nationalism and a growing appeal for singular identities and restrictive borders, the aim was to re-engage with urban geography in a way that acknowledged multiplicity and a wider European history of cross-cultural pollination."--Page 6.
