This is a guide to the format and use of IChemE's three existing model forms of conditions of contract: "The Red Book", "The Green Book" and "The Yellow Book". Together these three provide a flexible and useful model for engineers working in a wide range of industries - from petrochemicals to tunnelling, food processing and water. The guide takes engineers with little or no experience of conditions of contract through all the steps necessary to begin working with the model forms.
