Even these records are not exhaus tive, some publishers failing to notify the public of the fact that they have published a book. In this volume I have brought together all the discoverable titles of publications on Engineering and Metallurgy issued in the English language during the years 1907 - 1911. They have been placed under the most specific subject head ings, and these subject headings have been arranged in alphabetical order. For the further assistance of the reader I have added an index of authors' names and a table showing the subject headings in classified order.
