This book describes the conception, development and future prospects of a new vascular therapeutic intervention that involves the blending of intravascular stent and prosthetic graft technologies to form a new arterial bypass graft system that can be placed within the lumen of arteries. The "endovascular stented grafts" created by this technique can be used to repair a variety of pathological lesions, including aneurysms, long segment arterial occlusions and traumatic arterial injuries.
