The goal of End of Life Care Issues is to provide an overview of end-of-life care, with an emphasis on the team approach to care; providing compassionate hospice and palliative care; understanding ethical issues; meeting psychological, social, and spiritual needs; addressing cultural considerations; managing symptoms effectively; and using complementary and alternative therapies in end-of-life care. It covers in depth areas such as pain management, death and dying, and physiologic changes. It is broken down into several modules, each with its own testing and nursing CE credits.
