Publisher's Synopsis
This source book for researchers, translators, journalists and students contains over 6000 definitions from classical and molecular genetics. Often diagrams, tables or chemical formulas accompany these definitions, which are themselves frequently short texts. Whenever possible, German term equivalents are given both for the entries and the keywords in the text.
The second part of the book comprises a list of German terms with English equivalents and cross–references to the definitions.
This dictionary is unusually comprehensive as it incorporates all terms from chemistry, physics, statistics, biochemistry and medicine commonly encountered in the genetic literature.
