Publisher's Synopsis
Encyclopaedia of Recent Advances in Robust Control: Novel Approaches and Design Methods is intended to pres- ent a broad range of well worked out, recent theoretical and application studies in the field of robust control system analysis and design. They advance the current progress in the field, and motivate and encourage new ideas and solutions in the robust control area. In this volume two robust controller design approaches are presented: in the time domain the approach based on Linear (Bilinear) matrix inequality (LMI, BMI), and in the frequency domain the recently developed Equivalent Subsystem Method. The de- sign and real-time validation of an explicit model predictive controller for a two-mass elastic drive system which is robust to the parameter changes is also presented.
