We would intend to bring these resolutions to the floor on sus pension or possibly through unanimous consent procedures. The chair will be entertaining motions requesting the chair to do so as the committee finishes its amending process relative to each resolu tion.
In light of the situation in Nigeria and after consultation with our ranking Democratic member and sponsor of the legislation, Mr. Payne, we will not be marking up H. Con. Res. 40 concerning the movement toward democracy in Nigeria today.
