Was the Concierge's fall at Wohlford Place Inn an accident? Millie LeDao, lands on Royce Thorne's book signing table after falling from a balcony. The police discover that the injured Concierge, cousin of Clay Wohlford, owner of the award-winning hotel, was attacked in the hotel's electronic security room but was able to stumble to the balcony rail. Fingerprints on Millie's entry key card implicate Chrys Wynter, daughter of Royce's late husband. Former local football star, Bax Jacobson, husband of Millie's goddaughter, is found dead and phone records suggest Chrys was involved with him and a suspect in his murder.
