We are gratified to know that the Government Quarantine Station, on Angel Island, Bay of San Francisco, is nearing completion, and is to be equipped with the most ample and improved appliances known in sanitation, whereby our State will be fully protected from foreign pesti lence with the least possible interference with maritime traffic. This has been a great desideratum, and its establishment will give us security against cholera in any Invasion from lands westward.
