Everything is settled for Federico Benìtez' holiday to Iguazu Falls with his sons, but a last-minute call will alter their plans. A long-standing and pressing debt of gratitude forces him to change course and head to distant Patagonia, dragging two upset teenagers along with him.
In a four-day journey, this absent-minded and clumsy man will share his own hidden story with his teenage boys, the story of his own adolescence, of the First Interdivisional Soccer Tournament at the National School for Higher Education "Arturo del Manso", played in 1983. This soccer tournament, along with its arbitrariness, tricks, and pettiness, but also its greatness, its bright and dark sides, will be a laboratory of life for that kid, and he will come out transformed.
