Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from Eighty Second Annual Report of the Inspectors of the State Penitentiary for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, for the Year 1911
The administration of the Parole Law commands much of our thought and attention. Thus far the result of its application has been very satisfactory The tabu lated statement shows that out of 128 prisoners paroled, 18 only, have not complied with its requirements and of these 15 have been returned to the Institution.
The general health is good, and the mortality rate low; our Hospital equipment is efficient and its services successful.
The Consulting staff have rendered us prompt and valuable service, which we highly appreciate and grate fully acknowledge.
