In a climate of increasing change and cost pressure, rnany engineering companies have adopted innovative enabling technologies as part of wide-ranging changes to cope with their new circumstances. The conference Effective Technologies for Engineering Success - Making CADCAM Pay was proposed by the IMechE as a development for an earlier series of effective CADCAM conferences. However the conference was not held but the papers which had been prepared are included in this volume.
