Publisher's Synopsis

This article corresponds to an exercise of reflection, where different conceptual and epistemological aspects around education are collected, which allow to establish the relationship between economy, chrematistics and productive system, in order to identify its relationship with capitalism at the margin of quality and education for life. A reflexive critique of an expanding educational system is established, linking it to the utilitarianism enunciated in the 18th century by Jeremy Bentham, in order to identify its relationship with the curricular theorists of the 20th century, thus allowing to identify whether it corresponds to a universal political guideline or to a "human stupidity" according to the typologies proposed by Carlo Cipolla, among other authors. The article is constructed from a non-experimental documentary methodology combined with the interpretation from the context. It was divided into the following sections: Introduction, the first section entitled Education, economy or crematistics, a contribution to the productive system from the curriculum. The second section: Human Stupidity around the inclusive discourse on education, expansion and coverage.
