Publisher's Synopsis
For lack of a readable text, the legendary Tales of the Folio Club have always been subject to speculation. The present edition completes a study aiming at a reconstruction and interpretation of this work as a closed frame narrative. It contains the fragmentary frame and ten tales identified as former interpolated stories. The texts chronologically closest to the manuscript function as copy texts and allow a surprising impression of the original appearance of Poe's first efforts in prose.
