Publisher's Synopsis
Jesus Christ intended and expected that what was recorded in The Revelation would be understood by its initial readers and all who follow after them. It was never intended to be a book of mysteries, codes and hidden meanings. Rather, it is a book which has observable meaning when its purpose is clearly understood. It was intended to reveal and disclose important things about Jesus Christ, as He will appear in the future. This is what the very name of the book means, "A revealing of Jesus Christ." Christ never instructed His believers to "interpret" The Revelation. Instead, He affirms that John's record is true. The instruction Christ makes is for His followers to have "Ears to Hear" what the Holy Spirit is ready to reveal to those who read The Revelation for what it says.
