Publisher's Synopsis

Formed in 1998 by Queens of the Stone Age front man Josh Homme and his high school friend Jesse Hughes, the American rock band Eagles of Death Metal was once regarded as a mere side project for Homme. However, on 13 November 2015, the band caught worldwide attention when their gig at Le Bataclan in Paris was the subject of a horrific terrorist attack. This book examines the band's history, from formation to present day, chronicling its music, surprising political views, live shows, famous collaborations, and the enduring friendship between Homme and Hughes.
