Publisher's Synopsis
This book is both a memoir and a portrait of a man who has been written about by many people. Yet this book is unique in many ways. If the person who tells the story is to be believed, Elvis Presley lived on in spirit after his body was laid to rest. Who is this person who claims that? Who is Marilou Lipsey, the pseudonym she gave herself? Was she really Jessi, the name she said Elvis sometimes used to call her? 'Marilou Lipsey' was a neighbor of mine when I lived in North Hollywood, California in the early Eighties. I learned she had "dated" Elvis, but she never said much more about that. We were casual friends only, and I moved away after a few months. About twenty-five years ago she contacted me after she learned I had written a book and said she had a story to tell me that I could publish, but only after her death. That unfortunate event just occurred and thus I am publishing it now. The following is based on what she told me over the course of several days which she said were true events. You be the judge as to the veracity of her story.--John Corral
