In this series of teen sci-fi romance novels, two teenagers, Drew (a Hybrid with super powers) and Laurie, find themselves unwittingly involved in an alien plot to eradicate mankind. They embark upon a saga of intergalactic adventure and intrigue, in which they face deadly perils and encounters with hostile inhabitants of various stellar systems. At the same time, they acquire unique abilities, through deliberate (and, at times, accidental) interference by extraterrestrials. As the two strive to complete their quest, determined to find a solution to the fate threatening mankind, they also develop deep feelings for each other which, to their dismay, are challenged by unforeseen factors, both at home and in space.
