Publisher's Synopsis
This is the story of a beautiful brown girl who learns to follow her heart and follow her dreams. She is constantly contemplating what she wants to do in her life from a very young age, so she tries all sorts of activities. After the passing of her mother, she realizes that her purpose is to be a light for other people; to help them follow their dreams as she follows her own. She does this by running for a top leadership position at her Historically Black College and University that pushes her to believe in herself. She doesn't let her fears determine her fate, but instead she allows her fear to be her stepping stones towards greatness. She knows that for children to follow their dreams, she must be the example and show them how she is following her own.
