Shunted from foster home to another, Lina Townend always felt that something was missing. As Lina attempts to trace both her father and the origins of the frontispiece, she and her beloved Griff find themselves victim to a series of violent burglaries and attacks. It soon becomes clear that Lina is involved in something a lot more dangerous than some family research...
