The importance of manual training has been recognised by the Government of India in the Education Resolution of 1913 and elsewhere. The difficulties of its wide introduction in India are undeniable. The account here given of the centre at Lahoreshows how these can be at least partially overcome in towns. An inspection of this centre forcibly reminded me of similar centres which I have seen doing successful work in the cities of America and other countries.
