After Weylin shares his enthusiasm about the offer with his boss, Annette, who readily volunteers to participate in the study in the hope that Keith can cure her newly-diagnosed cancer, Weylin also invites his patient, Ariadne, and his former lover, Leandra, to join as well. Once he and Leandra finally meet alone, Weylin is shocked to learn that after their excruciating break-up, Leandra had resorted to past-life regression therapy, which had uncovered a former iteration of their timeless love story in 17th century Ireland, which ended in his betrayal of her. Under the influence of Jacacia, Weylin is able to relive and recount their love story in the same past life, but his account of events has a very different twist. The Jacacia experiments unveil an interlacing among Weylin, Leandra, Annette and Ariadne, as all four had lived in the same incarnation. In order to expose the much-desired physical evidence of this common bond, Leandra and Weylin, later joined by Ariadne, travel across Ireland where, and with the help of a shaman, they are able to lift a long-standing curse, which had kept the village of their past hidden from the world. They succeed in discovering the spells source, as they delve into understanding the transcendence of Weylin and Leandras love throughout time...
