You may have done regular word scramble puzzles, but have you ever worked a double puzzle? Double Word Scrambles Equal Double Fun! provides two different puzzles on each page, one solved by unscrambling the letters and the other by matching the letters to numbers. . Double puzzles are word puzzles that have two steps to them, hence the word "double". Step 1 is to unscramble the letters found within the puzzle. Step 2 is to take specific letters from the unscrambled words and use those letters to decrypt a phrase of some kind.
So, to work these puzzles first unscramble the individual words and write the letters into the boxes.
