Publisher's Synopsis
In light of Congress' continuing interest in ensuring that scarce federal funds are spent responsibly, and the ready availability of suspension and debarment processes and protect those funds, the Council of Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency (CIGIE), Investigations Committee formed a working group -- which has been integrated into the Federal Fraud Enforcement Task Force, led by the Department of Justice (DOJ) -- to examine ways in which the use of these remedies can be increased.
