Aux Archives du Nord, la serie C, dont on a tire les documents relatifs aux annees 1788 et 1789, n'est que tres sommairement Olassee. Elle est divisee en quatre fonds: ils correspondent aux quatre administrations qui se partageaient le territoire dont on a forme le departement Flandre maritime, Flandre wallonne, Hainaut et Cambresis. Les documents qu'on trouvera dans ce recueil ont ete tires des trois prem1ers fonds on ne peut point se ?atter de les avoir epuises.
