Another revision of this book has been rendered necessary to bring it into line with the 1914 edition of the British Pharmacop ia and the consequent modifications of current hospital pharmacop ias.
The opportunity has been taken to adopt the more correct rendering of weights in the various formulae by using the conventional signs - thus 3j replaces the 'i oz.' of earlier editions.
The general form and scope of the book have not been altered; a few obsolete formulae have been deleted and replaced by more modern ones.
