Publisher's Synopsis
This collection of poems deals with my struggle with P.T.S.D. and the feelings that flow from it. I put into words what many of us, who have it, feel and cope with, on a daily basis. It's my hope that you will be able to either identify with these, and be able to use them in your own life, or that it will help you understand what those family and friends are going through who have P.T.S.D., and/or depression.Each poem is an actual event, or flashback, that I deal with the consequences of. Each one is the true feelings that I felt at that moment. Everything written is my way of dealing with the pain, loss, confusion, and overall hell I experience. I truly hope that you're able to use some of these as a way to heal, and/or understand.I'm basically inviting you to take this journey with me, and letting you into the mind of someone who has a form of mental illness.
