This little compilation has been prepared for the purpose of presenting succinctly certain basic facts of Military Law and the procedure of courts-martial which the lapse of time frequently renders hazy. It consists of a Digest of Davis' Military Law of the United States, of Questions and Answers on the Manual for Courts-s Martial, and the Articles of War as revised to August 29, 1916. Paragraph topics are identical with those in the original. The number preceding each paragraph cor responds to the number of the page on which may be found the same subject In the original.
For those who may be said to have graduated in military law the information contained in the following pages will be found useful as an aid to the memory in quick preparation for an examination. It is hoped this little work may serve the convenient end of reducing to a minimum the drudgery of reading many pages of subject matter with which the student is already presumed to be familiar.
