Umst�nde, welche ich im Vorwort zu meiner ausgabe der Elis saga ber�hrt habe ver anlassten mich, die arbeit am Sir Tristrem fiir langen: zeit abzul)rechen und zuerst jene ausgabe fertig zu stellen. Zudem beanspruchte die ausarbeitung der anmerkungen und des glos sars bedeutend mehr zeit, als ich vorausgesetzt hatte.
