The author grew up in Germany during World War II as an American Citizen. After the wear joined the U. S. Army, serving for nearly seven years and then as an officer in the U. S. Air Force Reserves. After graduating from the University of Tennessee, he joined Ralston Purina Company, the last three years living in Germany. He then entered the distribution business in Nashville, TN interrupting it for two years traveling extensively in Central and South America. He returned to the distribution business eventually as a co-owner until liquidating the company. As an interim he was a certified investment counselor and insurance advisor when he made the decision to enter the ordained ministry of The United Methodist Church. He and his wife traveled extensively for pleasure and on business and church related. This book primarily talks about the travels; however, as well speaks to life's challenges. The author speaks freely about the adoption of his children and the deaths of his parents and first spouse. Reading this book is a continuation of the five other books the author has written.
